The Technical Services Division of the Spartanburg County Communications/9-1-1 Department has responsibility for the various radio systems (800 MHz, UHF, VHF) that are used in the Communications/9-1-1 Center and by the various public safety agencies throughout Spartanburg County.

The Technical Services Division provides maintenance and repair service for base radios (and related equipment), mobile radios, and portable radios. It also performs mobile radio installation in vehicles, as well as maintenance of towers, antennas, coaxial cable, etc. at the various communication tower sites in and around Spartanburg County. 

The Technical Services Division also has responsibility for the E9-1-1 Telephone System used at the Communications/9-1-1 Center, as well as the business telephone system used throughout the County's facilities.
